Leaking Roof Causes Wet Ceiling

Eastern North Carolina experiences frequent rain and storm damage. If your roof is not properly maintained, it can be prone to leaks during times of rain and wind. As pictured, this church has wet ceiling tiles that covered the hallway. It is important to keep up with roof maintenance, as a leaking roof causes the water to damage not only the roof, but the inside of the building. If the inside of your home or building is wet due to a leaking roof, you must contact a qualified roofer first. As in all other water damages, the cause of the leak must be fixed first to prevent another damage from the same source. For this job, the customer wanted the ceiling tiles to be removed, and was replaced with a flat ceiling.
